Outdoors @ Whitmuir
Our Woodland Walk takes you around parts of the estate and there’s lots to see on the way, from fairy houses, to frogs in the pond and bugs in the bug hotel.
The end of the walk takes you down through parts of the farm, as we are a working farm we ask that you respect this and help keep everyone safe.
This means closing gates behind you and looking at the animals from afar.
Whilst we don’t allow dogs in the main café building, we have a covered, heated seat area adjacent to the café and if the sun is shining, it’s a real sun trap.
Adjacent to the café building, we also have the old farm tractor which is safe for children to play on, along with the tractor trailers made on site by our estate team. There are picnic tables for grown ups to keep an eye on the wee ones, whilst enjoying a takeaway drink and cake from the café.
We are currently renovating the shuttered space at the entrance to the café, which will become a dedicated takeaway. It will be open 7 days a week 10-4pm offering hot and cold drinks, cakes and cold/hot sausage rolls and tarts. We hope this will be open by the end of May.

JunkShop Antiques is located in the main building and is host to a wonderful emporium of vintage goods – from textiles, to prints to furniture.
