Whitmuir Cafe

Our café is open seven days a week, 9am to 4pm.

All of the dishes, breads, cakes, bakes and preserves served in our café are made onsite daily by our fabulous kitchen team.

Our menu changes based on seasonality and what is available from our farm and butchery. We also support local and/or Scottish producers where we can.

We hope that you enjoy the fruits of our passion for flavour and good food.

We welcome dogs (with well behaved owners!) on our decking area, which is covered - and has optional heating for cooler days. Dog water bowls are also available. Many of our 4 legged friends enjoy our onsite woodland walk with their owners before breakfast / lunch.

Our chef made French toast broiche – with pancetta, brie and our own cranberry & fig jam or with orange creme fraiche and our seasonal berry compote (vegan).

Mashed avocado on toasted seeded sourdough served with sundried tomato crumb, parmesan crisp and our homegrown microgreens. Add pancetta / feta / poached eggs + £2

Pancake Stack*  £8.00   (Vegan pancakes available) – Stack of 3 pancakes served with a choice of – pancetta and maple syrup or our seasonal berry compote & creme fraiche (vegan).

Morning roll   £5.50  (GF roll available) – Soft white roll with a choice of filling from one of the following :-  bacon / black pudding* / link sausage* / haggis* / veggie haggis* / vegan sausage / 2 fried eggs. Add an extra :-  link sausage* / vegan sausage / bacon / haggis* / vegetarian haggis* / black pudding* + £2 / fried egg + £1.50

*these breakfast items contain gluten. Full and veggie breakfast items containing gluten will be substituted for a GF item when ordered ‘Gluten Free’.

Sourdough Toastie with Crab, Chilli and cheese – Crab, chilli and cheese on toasted white sourdough with vine cherry tomatoes and our own fresh chilli mayonnaise (GF possible).

Chicken Schnitzel   £11.95 – Home-made chicken schnitzel in tomato and basil sauce with mozzarella and smoked mash.
