Hello from Whitmuir….it’s been another busy month here.
Our café opened on 1 September and we have enjoyed seeing many of you already, whether it’s for coffee and cake, a breakfast treat, or a toastie and soup for lunch. There have been a few teething problems, which we are working hard to improve on and we have a continual training programme in place with our front of house team. Please do tell us if something isn’t quite right, so that we can fix it there and then.
Halloween is coming to Whitmuir café and throughout the month of October, any children dressed ‘spookily’ will receive a special Halloween activity pack. We will also be having a ‘spooktacular weekend’ on 29th and 30th October. Keep an eye out on our social media channels and our website for more information nearer the time.
Changes to opening hours: We will be closed 10th-16th October for team holidays. We will be open again on Wednesday 19th October at 10am.
Our herd of cows have had their annual health check and we are pleased to report they received a clean bill of health. We have also welcomed 6 pigs and 2 goats to the Whitmuir Farm family.
The Fairy Walk is receiving a lot of attention, to ensure it is safe to welcome visitors and we are completing some important renovations before the fairies can move back in.
We are hoping to open the shop at the beginning of November, stocking lots of lovely Christmas gifts and treats. Look out for more information on Christmas shopping nights coming soon!
Have you signed up to our email marketing? We send a treat each month….as well as early bird news, events and offers. Head to our website www.whitmuir.uk and sign up.
